Fast, regional pain relief that works.
Pain, dental phobia and postoperative complications have long been accepted as the negative side effects of anesthesia with traditional hypodermic drug delivery. Until now, the ability to control pain without the extra cost, time, and patient risk of drug delivery has been unattainable.
Regarding molars and wisdom teeth it is recommended at this time traditional anesthesia be used in conjunction with gumEase®. The patient will feel no pain from the needle after gumEase® is applied. A gumEase® device that focuses exclusively for use on molars and wisdom teeth is being
developed and will be available in the future.
Easy to use. Easy on the Patient.
The G100 is a single-use non-invasive cryoanesthetic device that takes seconds to apply. Unlike drugs, gumEase® can be used anywhere, in any environment, and can be used as frequently as desired without adverse effect.

Patient comfort
Patients with a "dental phobia," patients who are afraid of needles, or patients who simply want to avoid a "numb face" will benefit greatly.
Effective for fillings, extractions, crowns, root canals, cleaning, scraping, braces adjustment and other procedures. Regarding molars and wisdom teeth it is recommended at this time traditional anesthesia be used in conjunction with gumEase®. The patient will feel no pain from the needle

Financial savings.
gumEase® delivers solid financial savings to the practitioner, from setup to overall procedural costs. Reduced chair time, elimination of needle disposal, and low capital equipment costs are just three of the many benefits. The small temperature-controlled freezer costs less than
$200.
No adverse events.
Easy to use, economical and safe. Use of short term cryoanesthesia control for dental pain and orthodontic pain does not carry any long-term histological damage to the intact mucosal tissue.
Disadvantages of drug-delivered anesthesia:
Dentist needs to be present to administer anesthesia.
After anesthesia is administered it takes between 12-15 minutes to take effect.
The dental assistant is required to stay with the patient to watch for adverse effects.
The wait results in up to 15 minutes of unproductive chair time.
Often patient is not sufficiently anesthetized so additional shots are required, resulting in an additional 12-15 minute wait for dentist and hygienist.
Advantages of gumEase® cryoanesthesia:
Dental assistant can administer the device without the dentist being present.
Patient is ready for the procedure in eight minutes.
With correct scheduling the dentist can perform a procedure every 10 minutes.
Total time for procedure is reduced from 25-30 minutes to 18 minutes, resulting in three procedures per hour instead of two with the old method.
With skillful scheduling the dentist could actually do between four to six procedures an hour as opposed to 2-3 an hour with the old method.
Net overall result is that gumEase® enables the dentist to perform twice as many procedures.
When additional shots are required, it adds another 15 minutes but if an additional gumEase® is required it only adds four minutes.
gumEase® anesthetizes all four quadrants of the mouth allowing the dentist to perform twice as many procedures at the same time.
For deep teeth cleaning and scaling the dentist doesn't have to be present because the dental hygienist can anesthetize the patient.
Additional savings on sharps boxes.
Reduced needle sticks and reduced needle disposal costs.
